- Self-presentation skills. To sell your experience, you need to be able to tell convincingly about your experience. Your story helps your clients understand it is you they are looking for.
- Time management and planning skills. Freelancers that are always on time with their projects are especially valuable. Missing a deadline may be viewed as a red flag. So learning how to plan your day and complete work on time is paramount.
- Responsibility. It is not only about how careful you are with deadlines, but also about how informed you keep you clients. Completing a project on time is good, but sending regular reports prior to project submission puts customers at ease and increases their trust.
